Looking for Vice President, Engineering

UniLend is a multichain permissionless Lending & Borrowing protocol for all ERC20 tokens. We are developing a Futuristic Base Layer for all DeFi applications. UniLend is a very reputed Binance Listed Project in the crypto universe. We are looking to hire a VP of Engineering. The role involves a high degree of strategy, collaboration with the CTO/C-Level, and planning. Experience with, and a passion for web3 technology is a must. You will need a deep sense of ownership, and you naturally take pride in delivering a delightful customer experience. Responsibilities * Set a technical strategy and direction for UniLend Finance. * Take ownership/lead across the tech stack including but not limited to architecture, dev ops, in-house developer resourcing, product expansion and feature development * Make architecture decisions to ensure a strong, stable, and scalable product * Identify internal tech team needs and help craft our engineering/product team hiring roadmap * Work with engineering team to increase their expertise and understanding of best development practices * Lead our product and developer teams to ensure we maintain standards for documentation, code quality, and testing * Working closely with the founding team in continuously setting the technological roadmap and vision * Work with the leadership team to set clear priorities while balancing the long-term and immediate deliverables. * Oversee engineering development to deliver milestones as planned. Manage data security, infrastructure, and governance. Qualifications * 3+ years experience leading engineering teams in blockchain, crypto, or Web3 * A passion for decentralized, peer-to-peer systems and web3 technologies * Experience with smart contract development, full-stack decentralized application development, or blockchain infrastructure & dev tooling * Has managed the delivery of a successful enterprise blockchain application project. * Deep product knowledge of document and contract management solutions * Deep knowledge and understanding of blockchain technology, cryptography, related use cases and blockchain industry developments You are * Passionate about Web3 projects: you’ve been reading, watching, and actively following Web3 and the fast developing projects landscape. * Equipped with solid technical leadership experience: you’ve been a tech lead or senior engineer of a successful Web2 or Web3 company. * Happy to “get your hands dirty”: you have 5+ years of software engineering experience, coding yourself, you enjoy building technical architectures and translating ideas into code. * Experienced in smart-contract-based Web3 products: you’ve deployed it to a mainnet of any of the major blockchains. * Well connected in the Web3 space: you are a natural relationship builder, love mentoring people and have access to a strong network of technical talent.
